They bought VANE or something along those lines.

Yeah I had seen that site allready , but found little info there on the machine I'm after.....

VANE Diagnostic machines are Aussie wide and I would have thought VANE would of had a web site .....apparently not ????

How much is the vane dyno ? dyno dynamics are the australian standard almost (or so it seems, atleast for HI-PO cars) as dynopac is in the US so unless its pretty cheap maybe its not such a good buy.

A new 2wd dyno dynamics dyno is about $50-60k depending on options and 4wd ones are $80+ so you need to keep them busy to get some sort of decent return on them.

Its a 2nd hand unit and considerably cheaper than new

Its the "ratings " that it can handle that I'm concerned about ..300KW !

Also have to look at the "potential" for use in the local area.

Nearest one is 2.5 hours away !!

300kw doesn't seem like much.
Well atleast not when i have friends with over 500kw at the wheels in GTR's and Supra's.
But 300kw you would think would be fine for 4wd's and regular cars.

This is a bit of a concern, I recon there would be 50 ppl lined up to help install and "testrun" it.
