J10 Project

Post by EARSEZOOK »

A mate of mine just scored a J10 at the right price with an engineered 302 windsor in it little bit of rust and needs some TLC.

We're gonna change the rear spring mounts and go spoa in the front so we can squeeze in some 35's
gonna build a custom tray and bar work am sure it will turn out to be a pretty tiough truck when it's done

If your going 35's them you may need to swap out the axles. Re-gear for the AMC 20 is possible for 4.11 but the Dana 44 will only take 4.09 and - it's an expensive jobby.

If your running the auto, you may get away with it but if it's a manual box then it will struggle.....
