Intrest for Troopie Parts WITH PICS NOW

Post by jtraf »

Hello all,

mate is trying to sell an 86 Troopie and is having no luck due to the rust in the roof.

He only want $3000 and it has kaymar type rear bar with tyre carrier. Metal TJM Winch bar, full length roof rack(not the one that caused the rust in the first place. Vehicle is on gas and runs quite well only real problem is rust.

Is he better off lowering price or just wrecking it off for parts?

cheers

James

Can get pics if you are interested

Hey Ruff

I'll drive it up to XRCC if it runs reliably and isn't gonna grenade on me in the middle of nowhere.

Fix the rust, grind/cut the gutters off, get a tin shop to press new ones based on the profile u give them and mig it on, fill it, paint it then add $7000 and sell it.

Might be worth your while.

Have just done this on a FJ60
