Spring UNDER conversion
Rear OME springs in front with overloads and clips removed
3" Chassis extension
front bumpstops moved under chassis
Rancho 99012's all round 13" travel
10" chassis chop at rear
rear buggy leaf
new shackles
fuel tank moved ahead of the rear axle and moved turned around
2.5" exhaust inlcuding stack
2 new crossmembers
existing crossmembers reinforced
traction bars removed
rear axle braced
steering box moved 2" forward
high steering conversion removed - original drag link re fitted
30m of 1 3/4" 0.0106" (2.6mm wall) grade 350 CDS tube constructed
into front and rear stingers, roll bar, siderails and rear tray.
Sierra 1.3 air filter fitted, breathing through firewall
Doof Doof fuel filter and chrome inlet tube fitted ;o)
engine bay wiring loom er, tidied up.
battery moved to under glovebox
sierra washer bottle fitted
Front body mounts replaced with tubing off the stinger due to tyre
interference.
We crossed it up in on the culvert last night and the balance and
wheel travel, especially in the front are amazing. Moving the front
bumpstops in has gained an enormous amount of compression under
articulation in the front. Very much looking forward to seeing it in
the bush.
