Range Rover are about to release a 2.7 litre v6 turbo diesel on the UK and Europe market you could be the first to use one and tell us all about it
You could also use the Buick V6 260 ci 4.3 litre diesel but you cant stop the oil leaks on them

Apparently that Rover V6 is also targeted for Aus. So parts shouldnt be a problem either.

Get lpg injection on your current model. About $1500-$2000. Apparently makes a difference like a small nitros boost without the heat side effects...
Custom body work by trees and rocks...

13BT should slot right in.. 3.5lt Factory Turbo 4 banger, coupled with a custom Intercooler should solve your problems.

Also changing your dif ratios to 4.88's wil help you.

You could fit the 4.2.. but its gonna require a bit of chopping to fit a big straight 6 in.

Dan.

The bloke has transplanted his 13BT into a 60, should be some help.

Youd be looking upwards of probably $3k for a 13BT, There is a show in dandenong that sells engines, they hot run them for you with water etc connected... they have ads in 4x4 Monthly if you get it.

Im sure there are others who are able to help you with specifics :)

i fitterd a v6 4.3 litre buick/gmc diesel engine
its outta a front wheel drive buick oldmobile (usa)
it used the same bellhousing pattern as the buick/v6commordore engine
the non turbo diesel put out 80+ kw & torque was around 260nm
i fitterd a new garret turbo & custom piping
was a great engine. heaps of torque

I think I like the idea of this 13bt Toyota diesel engine because if it fits in with out to much modification and it’s a 4, if that is the case anyway
Can anyone else tell me about these engines and a price or web site to have a look at them?
