how do you know its genuine?

did you see in the window of toyota while they were making it?

all you have to do is get a 45 series roof (bj56 has one for sale ;) ) then blank in between the guards. i think the bottom corners are the tricky bit.

ive seen a troopy made into an extra cab ute, by using a landrover roof.

You can't do it because I'm going to do it first.

The key to making it look good on a 40 is you HAVE to get the rear axle back.

This is the look I'm going for next.

This is what you'll end up with just doing the cab.

Doesn't leave you much room for a decent tray/tub.

Me first bro,
I'm gonna try to use 55 series spring packs and lift the body by 2 inchs. Hey Zombie can you find me a well body down there please. I wanna chop and shorten one too but got nothing round here without rustus maximus

Shorty45 your rig looks awesome mate. Thanks for the pics

Scratch that. One day of looking I found spare 55 springs and a bunch of cabs. :finger:

Did you want a 40 cab to bob, or just a 45 cab?

I'm after a wellbody tray to bob n cut for the ute conversion.

Ah ok. I'll pick out the one i want to use, do the conversion, see if i like it. Then wait a few weeks and let you know, so you can COPY ME. :finger:

Seriously though. I know there are at least 2 down in the grave yard, but I'll see what the metal is like around the wheel arches to see if they are ok for bobbing.

EDIT: Which 40 are you planning on converting? The orange one?
