Pede vs ET2 ???

Experiences from owners of both tyres ???
I really like the size of the new 35x11.5 ET2 but haven't heard too much about how they perform compared to the 35" Pede particularly in the slop (heaps of that down here).
Just not too sure how the new 3 lug centre pattern will hook up as compared to the old 2 lug centre pattern of the Pede ??

I haven't seen them, but I'd heard the 35x11.5 has 2 rows, but the whole show is wider, whereas the 36's have the 3 rows.

True the 35 x 11.5 is 2 centre rows spaced slightly further appart and the outer lugs are longer than on the 35 x 10.5 and the 36. They actually measure out at 35.5 x 12.6

Wots the diff b/w the Pede & the ET2?????? Aren't they the same tyre??
I thought that there were 3 diff Simex tyres; Jungle Trekker, Jungle Trekker2 and Extreeme Trekker (being the Centrepeede). So are you asking for differenced b/w the Centrepeede and the JT2?

Now I get it the extreme trekker 2 is only 36" (3 lug centre pattern) the extreme trekker (centipede) has a new size 35x11.5 (thats the one I'm interested in).

No the Extreme Trekker 2 is the 36" and the 35" x 11.5"

A mate runs the ET2's in 35's (3 lug centre) on his Cruiser and he has problems getting mud to clear the lugs. It seems the gaps between the centre lugs are too small to do anything, and he needs to go down to 8psi to get any reasonable sidewall bulge. Another mate has the same probs with 36's (3 lug centre). We run 35" pedes with the 2 lug centre and don't have the same issues.

Go the 35 x 11.5's.....the 2 lug centre gives you longer side lugs that seem to bite and then clean better.

There is also a 32" Extreme Trekker 2..

Please note, Whether it is an Extreme Trekker, or Extreme Trekker 2, they are both 'The Centipede'

ET has 2 rows centre lugs, ET2 has 3.

I think everyone is a little confused the 35x11.5 is a ET2 (Centipede) with only 2 centre lugs not 3 like the 36x12.5 ET2

Ive got the 3 lug et2's 36x12.5, I haven't tried the 2 lug original style ones.
The centre lugs don't clog too bad, no matter what centipede you get i don't think the centre lugs are going to be giving you much traction in gooey mud wether there is 2, 3 or however many. The side lugs are what will bite into the mud.
So like GQ TROL says, the wider side lugs of the 11.5 inch tyre would probably be better in the slop, but as far as mileage and on road stability goes, and maybe even rocks and stuff, I think the extra rubber on the three lug tyre is the go.
