I can't recommend them personally. I didn't get a good vibe from them years ago when I looked into work on my Galant VR4..... seemed just too amatuer.
Did not like the sound of their suggestions at the time, and hind site has proven it.
I cannot comment on the subject of Pajeros however they have recently been playing with a turbo 3.5l magna. this is not however rocket science - take a magna and strap on at least 1 turbo. I know the guy who does their dyno tuning for them....not in house....etc

I went to this place to buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for my EF Fairmont 4.0L, drove down the road, saw the building and kept driving! The place is disgusting, doesnt look very professional, it was littered with junk from front to back. Could see in through the front door (a roller door) and the inside was even worse than the outside. I wouldnt take my car there if you paid me.
If they dont take pride in their environment, then to me I feel they dont take pride in their work.
But thats just one persons opinion...

He Disco,
forget the Mitsu motor, how about being the first person in the world to lay a nice v8 into one of these beasts, ie 99 model. or even the 3.8l supercharged Comm would be nice.
I thought about this long & hard when My NK reached 300000k but in the end just bit the bullet & traded into a 99 3.5l GLS.
Pretty good for power it is but as usual could be better.
cheers

re
Does anyone know the difference from the 3.5L SOHC and the new 3.8L... Would it be possible to rebuild the 3.5 to the 3.8 specs.
The blown 3.8 commonwhore donk would be cool...

You'll find from their web site that RPW stands for Racing Performance Works, and I believe they take the Racing part seriously - don't be surprised if they want to turn your Paj into a drag car. I'm not sure they understand the concept of every-day driveability, or that a 4WD wants low-down torque, not top end power.
I once rang them in response to an add of theirs about "billet camshafts for Mitsubishi Saturn motors" - they had no idea what I was talking about, and tried to talk me into purchasing a 1700 Saturn motor with 14:1 compression running avgas - for a daily driver.
