anyone knows hows the firewall panel is mounted onto the hilux? mine is shot and thinking of replacing it. The only way i can probally remove it is to remove the windscreen and grind cut it out.
What do you guys reckon? im up to get this thing roadworthy so i can show it off :D

its a lot of work mate, although ruff only just cut all his up, maybe you can send him an email, he might sell you the bits :shock:

With an OXY torch :lol:

They are not removable all you can do is cut sections and weld them in.

its still a lot of trouble try to remove only wat u have too to fix the rust :?:

yea :D i got no bonnit beacuse of the rusted hinge mounts :x

Find another Hilux at a wrecking Yard crash damaged, and cut the pieces out that you need to replace, and weld them into your Hilux. Its a big job.
