I am not going to be going now guys.....I have to do a heap of stuff at home, and after being up the beach on Sunday/Monday and seeing how much water is still at the rocks on low tide I dont' intend to risk it. Have a good one though.

Gees,
I fly back from Melbourne (blowing a gale down there) to make sure the trip is still on and everyone is pulling out.

So who's left ? You still going Nick?

That's a pretty ordinary effort, especially when the organiser drops out. Noone wants to go to the beach in the middle of winter, strange that. Anyhow there is alot of stuff closer to home so if we go it will be a spare of the moment thing. No offence but my girlie thinks it's a bit wanky hanging out with other lowly feroza drivers anyway. Since when did I start listening to her, I must be losing the plot. :D

Well
I think we will still be going - whether its by ourselves or not - supposed to be a nice day tommorrow (bit warmer anyway).
A nice beach drive will be good or we may head for some forestry tracks - glasshouse or beerwah way.
So any one wanting to join us reply or forever hold your peace

calling all brissie daihatsu owners

Post by ferozious »

Thought this could be revived...

G'day one and all, any other daihatsu owners in Brisvegas keen to do some wheeling one of these days.?....have dreamed of seeing a large convoy of ferozas/rockys driving down the highway enroute to 4wd destination.....

Also on a more practical note, would be great to get recovered by another daihatsu for a change

Have given patrol/cruiser owners way too much satisfaction lately.

Cheers, Ben.

hi,,im piglet, the cars name is the FATROZA,i live at springmountain.
(bris south, greenbank area) theres a wonderfull area just behind my house, that you all could wheel in for days!!!! plenty of good tracks, & some challenging ones as well,,but dont panic as there are usualy bypass tracks..
HOW ABOUT A DAIHATSU TAG A LONG NIGHTRUN not too challinging, but good fun with a BBQ at the end, those that have too drive too far could ,
always bring a swag/tent or camper as my place could be set up as a base.

# whats your ideas on this??
# dates are open to suggestion !!
# or locations are open to sugestion !!
most of know the fatroza, for those that dont its a 92 feroza cut into a ute cab
V6 commodor/auto,locked GU patrol running gear,37" M/T claws,4 pnt cage,

luck Piglet......

Getting two feroza's on a trip - merely difficult, three - a historical event.

Wish I was up your way but the FATROZA's just a "little" out of the Mouse's league and its a loooooooong drive from Mexhicho. :D
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

Having owned an LJ50 I have sworn on a stack of service manuals to NEVER EVER EVER have another one.

May as well lie on the track and let it drive over you - you can almost hear the little bastards plotting to kill you.

Still the ringa ding ding brings a tear to my old eyes......

Actually thats just the exhaust smoke. :turn-l:
