Flywheels

Post by cj »

It was suggested to me to consider lightening the flywheel in the Vit. This would make the engine a lot more responsive. Now I always thought a heavier flywheel would have been better for offroad work with a smoother torquey delivery but as I was told my flywheel is about 13 kg compared to a Sierra's 5.5 kg. and I have an auto maybe there is some room for a little judicious lightening? What do you reckon?
