hey guys well i recently purchesed a 96 coily
I am wanting to do a suspension lift , to lift 3 inches i have a huge amount of cash so money is no abject but the set up has to be road legal as it gets used for daily driver , i have heard that they are a prick to do so any advice would be great or any people you would recomend to go see , cheers cameron ;o) i am also looking for a front bar to fit i have a warn 9000lbs winch i want to fit behind can any one recomend where to find a front bar off the shelf or any one who will make me a custom one

As far as bars for mounting winches goes there is a new company on the scene doing tome trick Kustom (with a K) shiat

Talk to Sam at 'Overkill Engineering' (Hornsby), he's a nice kid who builds good.....
Walk in, and show him this picture, give him your money, and he will make it happen. Just make sure you ask him for an EXO, and say you want it in RED (chicks dig it , plus they go faster...)

I would be surprised if the front shokers had gone and thats why the ride is crap. I own a coilly and the front suspension bottoms out all the time on speed humps and pot holes. I would buy a set of king springs. yes they are lifted but its nessasaraly a bad thing. (I havnt done this yet but plan to) Also remove the front sway bar. You will find that the front suspension will be slightly cushier when it comes to slow bumps such as driveways. At first the removal of the sway bar will be noticed when cornering as the car will lean a bit more however I dont notice it anymore. It will definatly be noticed in the bush as the front suspension will actually move.
