Another new rig

Post by grimbo »

Well it looks like i may have bitten the bullet and gone with a swb WT softop. All to be confirmed hopefully today.

My plans will be:
Series 3 Rh from my LWB
ARB & LA lockers from my LWB
Rear springs all round from my LWB
Rancho shocks from my LWB
34" swampers from my LWB

have to do front chassis extension
2" body lift
Roll cage
cut guards and get new flares

that will be about it to start with

This will then mean I will have a 87 NT LWB ute with a Toyota 5k (1500) and toyota 5 speed g/box, stock Sierra t/case, RUF setup on stock rear springs, custom shock mounts, 3/4 eliptic rear setup, custom tray with exo & snorkel, wide track diff conversion, and probably a few other things i can't think of at the moment up for sale. Price undecided as yet. Oh yeah unregoed and no RWC. Good start for a project car

Still secret squirell about the deal until it finally happens but if it does yes it will be as good a deal as gregs.

As to offers I'm open to any but it won't be awhile until i can sell it. Preferably I would like to sell it as a whole lot not seperating bits and pieces

It was like 3k reg and RWC wasn't it

Gregs initial purchase of $1800 would be at least $3000 by the time its registered.

I had the choice between mine for 3k reg and rwc or the one my bro bought for 2k that needed heaps of work and rego I choose mine as I could start modding from the get go thats just me though.

I realise you have to shop around for something to match the garden/garage/shed :finger:

$4k reg & rwc.

Ideally if I can get a rough 87 that cab be rwc and regoed and then swap the good bits onto. Still not sure what is happening.

I'm waiting on one guy to get back to me on a rough 90 model for a good price. Also waiting on word about a lwb and mine is going in on saturday to finally see if it can get a rwc. On top of all that we are upgrading the A3 to a V6 A4 and getting a new kitchen

Tell me about it, the baby is due in tminus 3 weeks, I haven't finished the nursery yet.

The zook needs a new radiator, respray and a slight smoke issue resolved. However I have been given the go ahead from the financial advisor to get the cage, beadlocks & front airlocker done relatively soon.
