Have you got a stutter Bazzle? :D :D

Nissan cant change a towing capacity after a vehicle has been released without a recall & they certainly wouldnt do it this many years after the end of a model run.
They set all the weight capacities when they seek approval to have the vehicle released to the public & it must be correct before the first one is sold
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.
Well they are all following you...

Um Nissan can change Tow rating and has. Dealers have a new rating card or did have some time back. BUT if tow bar rated for certain load you neeed a bar with the higher / new rating for legals.

As I said Bazzle, generally with a recall & generally during a model run not after.
