Hey boy..

I got a shorty w/ 4" coils gonna wack 50 mm blocks underneath the body to assist clearing 35" mtrs. What can you do, legally, to rectify the rubbing issues ? Is it a case of offset rims, bumpstop extension or other wise... Any advice ?

Toyota offset rims may fix up the problem, but it may still rub a tiny bit in some GQ's.

Each GQ is individual. you'll find one GQ will have this problem whereas the other doesnt :?

On a LWB they will rub on rear of front guards and on rear of rear guards under compression.

For front just move axle forwards with spacers and tube - 12mm - on lower radius arms and remove factory mudflaps. (replace with rubber sheet)

For rear have about 20mm or guards cut off and relipped up to about 250mm up blending in to orig line. Rubber sheet mudflaps again.

hey even wit a five inch lift they still rub...bazzle is all over like a fat kid on smarty - wit the radius arm spacers and the rubber mudflaps.... the best thing you can do is lower the bump stop mounts this will also assist in the rig not rolling when you are in one of those postions when you wish you had done it a week ago.

Mine has a 3 inch lift & 35 inch claws on toyota offset on 16's. Only rub a liitle on inside although i did use a heat gun to bend the flares at the rear of front flares & front of rear flares. So far so good
