zook hand brake woes

Post by christover1 »

After a bit of investigation, I discovered my hand brake cable wasn't returning properly, causing shoes to wear out way to quick. With some shoes from Joeys old t-case, some wd 40 down the cable and a touch of grease, all is good again (thanx Joey)...so as part of your servicing it is worth lubing ya hand brake cable, or replacing occassionally, will keep ya e-brake happier longer... (a known zook weakness possibly caused by mud and such)
