whats yours and what should it be?


i have a turbo 2.4 surf and with 2 10inch thermos it runs at 180, i left it idling for about 30minutes in the drive way and it got up to a touch under 200.

mine sits on a 1/3 on the guage all the time - summer winter, rain hale or shine

i have the stock radiator and fan - last time it cooked was when i blew the p/s steer belt asnd knocked off the bottom clamp :?

Nic, are your still runing the standard engine fan??
What CFM are the fans??
Did the radiator get clean(re-cored) before you put it back in??

i got a 2.8 nick and it dont move off 1/3 no matter how hard i drive it even in the heat. maybe ya thermostat is playin up take it out comletly and just c wot it runs like then

Mine used to overheat till I got a new radiator core, now it doesnt go above 1/3.
