I would go the kevlar.I dont think the fiberglass ones would be much lighter than the panels. In the 1970 to 1980 cars were built more solid panel wise so the fiberglass helped back then. Please dont Quote me on that.I know the kevlar panels are cheaper than genuine stuff but then again isnt everything.

Panels.....

Post by JemmyBubbles »

Sadly it is the price for each gaurd, however it works out cheaper than genuine nissan replacement panels.

I am sussing this out at the moment as well. I got one welll loved ?? gaurd and door that need some mending after which arb side rails would be fitted. I am just trying to work out whether buying 2 front gaurds + 2 doors + rocksliders would be cheaper than getting a door skin and gaurd having it painted then getting side rails... mmmm ways too spend money.

But give them (Binskins 4wd) a call on 02 65852504 ask to speak with Dave Smith tell 'em Jeremy w/ the yellow shorty said to ring  . Yeah pick his brain aboot the pricing of each panel. They do need a bit of loving with some sandpaper if you want them to look all shiny and pretty though.

Interestingly, Binskins has changed hands Glenn Binskin no longer owns the joint... a very capable nice fellow by the name of Glenn Marshman (A.K.A = Max. Drives a white petrol GQ shortie as his comp vehicle) bought the business of him in May this year. He has worked there for ages and used to work at S.M.I and Arb sooo he knows his stuufff.. :D
