I used a jigsaw for the front quarters, just put masking tape over the area first, then u can draw on it where u want to cut it, and the base won't scratch the paint.

100mm x 1mm cut off disks. They remove such a small amount of material they dont heat up the area. :D
NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.

i have been contemplating cutting my rear gaurds myself but wasnt sure the right or best way it was done.. i have a few questions..

1. do u take an even slice from the whole gaurd or just trim front and back of the gaurd?
2. do u guys leave the gaurd with some kind of lip as per the factory setup so flares can be bolted up?
3. any other tips or tricks you wanna share...

im pretty handy with tools (carpenter) but have always cringed bout attacking my car with a grinder.. thats why i asked if someone experienced in sydney was keen to do it for me at the right price.. cheers guys..

1..even slice over majority of wheel arch , more at the front & even slightly more again at the rear of the arch !!
1..1 if fitting castor bar spacers (front) do about the same front & rear of front wheel arch !

2..Yes !!

3.. draw your cut line & your fold line , then place masking tape along your cut line !!
.. go slow , dont get excited & rush it !!

Just cut my rear quarters, used 115mm x 1mm blades as cheezy said.

No burning of the paint. Bit fiddly cutting the inner panel, but not imposibble.

Pic below.
