Body lift

Hey can anyone tell me if a narrow track sierra has captive body bolts in them ( as in you have to buy body blocks with thread in the centre of them to do a body lift).

yes there will be 6 captive studs. whether you need a solid tapped spacer or whether you can use square hollow section depends on whether your body supports (on the chassis) are flat or if they have a dimple in them. undo one of the nuts under the sills and if the lower rubber bushing is concave, you will need a solid spacer.

yes, not all tho, but you can use rhs on the 4 captives, if you like, with a nut on upper and nut n bolt thru lower part of mount......some say that aint strong enuff, but mines lasted a few years. I used crush tubes on the rest of the bolted blocks.
