I would love to have a rig like Netteberg's. Unfortunately the US never got any. I'm wondering if you did down under and maybe then if there are sources for parts there...

Unfortunately we didn't get the J Top (Gen 1 or 2).
We did get the swb Gen 1 & 2 but the Gen 1 swb was not available with the 3.0 V6 only the 2.6 or 2.3 diesel. The Gen 2 was available with all of the V6's.
There are J Tops here (mostly Gen 2's) but they have been bought over from Japan by car yard importers.
Because they are not a native model the Oz Mitsu dealers won't have the part number listings.

HAHA um opps sorry not being nice now am I
i have had mine for about 18 months and have been told a number of times that all the parts are different BUT havnet found any. Rebuild diff clutch and lots of engin bits with the aussie ones and all good, just hope i dont break the up button.

The canopie and sunroof have been repaired by um s%@t guys who do the inside of cars , seats and doors etc, almost as good as factory
Cut down Sierra cab on extended LWB chasie running, Hilux front and Bundy back, with a 4AGZE should be finished about umm soon. A 60 Series work truck and some go fast toys too.
