rear windscreen heating

Post by tritonasuras »

im looking to put one of those windscreen heating strips on the rear windscreen of my canopy.

I spend a fair amount of time in the snow fields and when ever there's snow, or even ice, u can't see anything out of the rear canopy screen.

Does anyone know where i may be able to buy something like this ???

Those things used to be available from auto parts stores as an aftermarket retrofit for cars without rear window demisters. I'd be surprised if they're not still available.

Cheers,

These things used to be the bain of every apprentice.
Clean the window well.
Possibly turning it on to warm the glass when attaching it rings a bell.
