Hey Rover dudes I need your help

Post by droopypete »

A rangie fell into my lap today (ouch  ) and I need an rough idea of what it is worth please, excuse my limited knowledge of RR's.
fawn coloured 2 door,
body rough,
ARB winch bar on the front,
Kaymar spare wheel carier on the rear,
4 near new 31" BFG all terains and the spare is brand new,
it used to have 35 muds on it but the owner had trouble getting in and out,
flares,
internal roll bar,
the preivious owner spent $4500 on the gearbox/trany
it failed to start one morning and hasn't moved since (18 months)
no reg, no plates,
it also has these two small aluminium fuel tanks inside but I don't know where they go.
the engine bay looks clean for its age.
I am not asking for offers, but if you could give me an idea what it is worth I would appreciate it, thanks.
Peter.

Under the sills...

I'm no expert, but without reg and unsolved problems (probably easy to solve, electrical? Lucas :bad-words: )

$2000 - $3000 (good project car)

Not normally too expensive, can get cheap ones too..

But considering extra goodies and money spent on box etc...

2 - 3kish would be a fair price i would think!
