Mate of mine hase a gq leaf sprung ute and wants to do a spring over job on it .
can any one tell us what he needs and were he can get it .
he wants to put 35" tyres on it :shock:

There is a fair amount of info in there regarding SOAs and I would asume there would be little differance between the 2 models in the approach in doing a SOA.

there is very little difference. just minor things in steering are different but can easily be overcome. If only it was legal to spoa in qld mine would be done tommorow

Ive got an mq with gq panels (pretty much like a gq leaf) not sprung over and fits 36's, so they can go on with a little suspension work and body lift, soa is ok too, but more work, have a look at the link below, the gaurds are trimmed at the rear a tiny bit.
