Another rollover...

Post by markil »

Here's my poor zook after last weekends roll  . Embarressingly, it happened just while doing a couple of donuts in a mates paddock after some 4bing  . There was 3 people in the car at the time (one in the front passenger seat, one in the back and me driving), thankfully no one was seriously hurt though and all walked away with only a couple of cuts and bruises.

Zukin4life I have marked your attempt and I must say I would expect better :?

For the above red denotes grammar problems, yellow for spelling and blue for an inappropriate word :?

Large font denotes improper sentence structure :?

Please address this and resubmit ASAP and I'll regrade it :D

Talk about Deja Vui...Exactly the same thing happened to me in my mates sierra a couple of years back(no-one injured) We got back from 4wdriving, cleaned his car in his backyard, threw a few donoughts on the way to his shed, and before we knew it we were hanging upside down... I think I paid him $80 for the damage done(a lot more then $80 worth) and he sold it to some guy who wanted to make a buggy out of it for $400.

The ironic thing is it's got really bold rear tyres on it. i said i'd do some rallying with it for the last time whilst it's safer to do still, and get some all new good rubber during this week  anyway, yeah i'm just so glad that nobody was hurt. If someone had been hurt because of my stupidity i don't know what i would have done  Definately learnt a few lessons ;)

The future of the little beast is undecided as yet. But some options i'm considering now are:
1. i'm inquiring about a replacement LWB body, so we'll see how that goes.
2. i may cut the rear off, tray it and get some tube , and a new windscreen and surround  , i'll probly do this for short term even if i do get a replacement body :D
3. i might just sell it as it is and give the 4bign a break (my mum is really hard to deal with after several incidents with similar consequences and risks as this one  )
4. wreck it out. not something i wanna do.

if i don't get anything done to it this weekend then it'll sit in my backyard for a couple weeks probly before i'll get a chance to touch it. But i'll be sure to get photos as changes take place.

Any suggestions/advice floating out there, let me know  . It will need to keep rego though and pass rego again in a few months so staying at least fairly legal is a must. Money is also very, very, very low, so it will be a slow rebuild-up, but hopefully a real beast will emerge in the end :D
