2004 VICTORIAN WINCH CHALLENGE
This event will be held on 8th - 10th October in Neerim Nth, approx 1 1/2hrs from Melbourne.
This event is a B-Class Winch Challenge and is for those that have little competition experience but would love to get into the scene.
CCDA have introduced classes of A, B & C.
For example an A-Class event is Ateco Warn Winch Challenge
B-Class event is Vic Winch Challenge & Simex Pursuit
C-Class event would be similar to Pajero Challenge.
(Sorry unsure of the classing in other states for CCDA sanctioned events at the moment and all details will be released once we have received all updates.)
Currently we are looking for experessions of interest.
Please email us your Name, Club, Experience, Contact number/s
Please send you email to admin@vicwinch.com

Entry forms will be getting sent out in the next couple of weeks. First in (and least experienced) best dressed. If you would like to get in before the others send an email to admin@vicwinch.com with your contact details and previous comp experience and we will add you to the list for entry forms.
Also, please note that as this event is a CCDA Class "B" event 6 point cages and harnesses will not be required. However a 4 point cage with B Pillar protection and helmets will be required.
As mentioned above this competition is designed as a way for people with little competition experience to participate. Please feel free to email admin@vicwinch.com to ask if you qualify.

The best place to start would be with the CCDA Rules. These can be downloaded in a .zip file HERE.
Please be aware that these are subject to change so keeping an eye on the CCDA site is advised. ccda.4wd.org.au

Location: in the sky , its a bird , its a plane ! No its super MOOSE !!!
The reasons for Specataing only on Sunday are:
1. Insurance - Costs skyrocket once we have that many people for the whole weekend. Things like drinking, campfires and vehicles are part of the reason I think.
2. There are regulations on things that must be done for a public events. Its not too bad for a one day thing but once overnights are added it gets huge. Things like the amount of toilets, fresh water per person etc etc etc, this makes it unrealistic to arrange.
And expect some great action on the Sunday, how does a Top 10 Shootout sound????

seeing as its "novice" event , is it club members only ??
or open to all ??
Open to anyone who has not placed in the top ten of any event in the previous 12 months. Even you can enter Moose!!
The top competitors will be helping set the event up - so if you have the idea that whacking a cage in and having a crack - then so be it - get your entry in ASAP!!!
Even NSW or queenslander can apply - although it'd be hard for pre scrutineering...
