G'day. I have a '98 Prado GXL. It has standard suspension etc, no modifications. What is the largest tyre I can fit without adjustments? I currently have 265/70 16 and have been told that 265/75 16 will rub the back off the front wheel arch. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Josh+

I find that hard to believe
When I worked for Bridgestone a guy came in with his prado and wanted 275/70R16's on his 4by. With no lift and no intention to change it's height in the future I advised him against it, but that's what he wanted so that's what we did.
One week later he returned all upset that it scrubbed and wanted us to solve it. I told him I would if he returned in 60,000kms time.
