ok fellas.... the run went great.. had lots of fun. but we all took it pretty easy since we were only spotting for new trails... so we didnt do anything dramatic.... BUT there were 5 rigs total... all of them were pretty sweet.... i was the only non-jeep rig there.... jeeps are pretty big down here apparently.... theres 2 monster jeeps that are just wicked as hell! one of them broke a bolt for their steering arm so we sat there for around 45 mins while trying to find another bolt that would fit and hold the strain until we all got off the trails and back home. sadly though, i didnt get very many pics..... it was getting wayyy too hot and we were all trying to hurry, not only that, i was havin too much fun drivin.... ok the rigs are as listed
1975 jeep tj? (unsure)
unknown jeep wangler
2002 jeep wrangler
1996 jeep cherekee
1990 daihatsu rocky sx
see pics below...

ok these ones here are pics of the unknown jeep when the steering arm broke.... was a pretty rocky place here.... perfect for rockcrawling... which 2 of the jeeps are set for...... so they got through no problem.... the 3rd jeep wasnt as hardcore as the others... but had no problems getting through as well... now the cherekee had some problems as did i... but my biggest concern was ground clearence in the front cuz of the damn a arms! but i'm honestly impressed, the cherekee was in 4 the entire time and had some hard times trying to climb a few hills with some major ruts and it had a 3 inch lift..... to my surprise... the rocky did better than that rig... then i almost rolled my rig..... while decending down a steep, rock step, as soon as hit dirt i gunned the engine in order to climb the next hill and my tire hit an unseen rock and forced the front tired to swing hard left and since it was narrow, i quickly acended the steep embankment and was teering on 2 wheels before i caught on... pretty close call there, but was alot of fun. i could hear on the cb from the 2002 wrangler behind me that i was having trouble, was hung up, and needed a tow. so the entire convoy stopped and they were starting to work their way back when i keyed up and said, nope, i'm ok watch. stuck that rig in 4 low, and pulled right off of the enbankment and kept on going. wish i got a pic of that though, man i had some mad flex! would of been a different story if i had the sway bar so i'm pretty much sold... swaybar stays off....

Looking good Yank, seems there isnt a lot of problem letting the tyres hang out the side of the rigs over there... might wanna get your hands on some deep dish rims and phat tyres!!
Good to hear you didnt roll it, love a near miss... speaking of which, are you gonna post some more pics of your miss?
Hehehe, good work!

On boooooost!!
cold? nope.. theres a thing called urban island heat..... so when the sun sets, it still hovers around 90-95 degrees over night.. then climbs back up to around the 110-115 F mark...... i love it...
