try talking to the proprieters of a certain company ,
with an "angry meat eating fish" as there name !!
as for my personal experience,s ...
it rides (on & off road) & flex,s better than it ever has !!!
(will flex even better with longer shocks & rupper bush,s)
thats with the 808,s up front & the 323 out back !!

$50 for some new locating holes in main leaves !!
& they take Zook bush,s , all positions !!

Fuel tank now secured, front diff in place as SPUA.
Will finish rear spring mounts and brace transfer case x member this week.
The base of the fuel tank sits level with the bottom of the chassis. Decided to leave it right at the back to hopefully counter the added weight from the winch on the front.

The shackle is sitting back a little at the moment for a couple of reasons.
1. There is no body, engine, gearbox etx (hence very little compression)
2. The shackle mount is only clamped on until the weight is there so i can work out where to weld it.
But very well spotted.
Well i'm now looking at boggers for tyres. possibly 36x12.5. Still not sure. We'll see what the $$$ come in at.
Will the 1.6 carb, sierra 1.3 5 speed, series 3 rock hoppers and 4.6 ratios spin them?

james, dont sell the mq without removing the master cilinder cuz the zuk one wont even get a peddle.

I have the Vitara one, a suzuki swift one and the MQ. Will be looking at that next week.
Did you use the original zook pedal or the Nissan one?
was going to keep the MQ until the zook is done for little useful bits. The when the zook is done i think it can be used as a weel ramp. See Nissans are useful.

boggers tend to be shortish for their size, Petersens fitted up a set of 37's and they measured 35.4"
LJxtreem's 36 12.5 swampers are 36.3.
Personally, boggers are cool, but I reckon that for most use, swampers are a more useful and versatile tyre, available in better sizes and have a more flexible tread for a light car.

he used to run 44's without the crawler box
sam keck also ran 42's in the aztec with 6.1 and 5.12's
Not trying to say your wrong tim but I thought they were 39.5 not 44?

I understand that i will need to brace the long arm on the transfer case mount but do i need to do the short side?
Does anyone see any need to plate any particular sections of the chassis rails in general?
I was planning on plating the front section due to the added leverage with the front chassis extension and winch.

I think you could just for good measure, I know some of the other guys beefed up the short arm because it has been a problem before.
I am going to plate my extention just for added strength.
Another thing that I will be doing is bracing the spring hanger so that it does not get pushed close when it hits rocks.......like my rear one has already.

i was actually making some "sliders" for the spring hangers out of some 50x100mm RHS so that rocks etc will slide off the chassis onto the spring rather than bending the hanger.
It's cheap, its easy and better than those "sliders" they sell in the US that resemble a big washer.
Will hopefully be done this week end, will post pics when done.
