Since I am putting a remote oil filter and oil cooler under my tray will I need to get a higher volume oil pump because of the long way the oil will have to go.

Guts, pump volume will not be effected by the distance. But having said that, make sure the fittings and hose you use are large enough in the bore to not cause too much pressure drop. If you use too small a bore hose, there wont be enough pressure at the other end for the engine.
From memory your a sparky, use voltage drop calcs as an example works the same with fluids. Hope this helps with your question

Ya it sort of helps, thanks. Might just check with my mechanic before I fire it up when the time comes
