Roof lining for a 40 series

Post by MrForty »

Hi All

Does anyone know where I can get a roof lining for my 40. Mine is old and torn and in bad need of an upgrade. Is there a place that sells them or would I have to get one specially made?

Thanks

I know I got my replacement door seals and window lining from clark rubber. They have a heap of stuff for the 40's but I can't remember if I remember seeing "roof liner" or something similar in there at all.

If they have the size and shapes for the doors they should have for the roof too.

You will have to order it in. They usually have a print out/catalog with the specifics of what they can get made up for you. It takes about a week or two and it did cost a bit as far as rubber and seals go.

I think for 2x window runner rubbers and 2x outer door seals it was about the $180 mark.

I found out they had all this after getting the 60mm rubber tubing for the roll bar that in itself was something like 90bucks for a 1.5m lenght.

Just give em a call and see how you go. :)

it doesnt look 100% trick, but for roll bars i find a length of BRADFLEX or whatever name you know it by is good and cheap.

my mate is a refridgeration mechanci so there is often a supply there.

but it isnt too expensive. almost fits right too.

just a budget alternative. the only window i have is windscreen, i might price on. but if no good i might try to silicon around mine. it leaks liek a bastard during rain. so it rund down the dash and onto my foot.
