Yo amigos I'm trying to figure out which rear diff is in my mq, the gregorys book i have lists the c200 and h233b and both are 4.625:1. Its an 82 diesel 4 speed if that helps and its not lsd. Also what would the axle spline count be ? arb quoted me for a 31 or 37 spl. locker, the 31 is over $100 cheaper.
C200 will have the bolt-on inspection cover on the rear-facing part of the diff, H233B doesn't, has the bolt-in third member that joins the housing from the front. Not sure about spline counts on the C200, 29 I think, H233B would be the 31 spline, and 37 spline could only be the honkin' big H260 (also a third-member style) but I doubt you have that.

In search of an MQ (offset) H233b rear, housing only preferred, plus a complete GQ or GU front (4.6 ratio ideal) to be shipped to the US. Cheap! Email/PM if you can help.
