ive decided it doesn't have to be a tray back i will accept a soft top and it can be in bad shape as long as i can get it rego'd eventually so it doesnt matter if it had pannel damage (prefere no major rust)and stuffed running gear just as long as its all there

long term project with gemini diesel 4 cyl, couple of inches suspension lift, couple of inches body lift, longer shackles, 32x11.5x15 mud tyres, bobed tray and chassis, possibly rockhopper gears, vitare diff centres. Nothing too extreme just a very capable rock hopper. Do you know of onyone with a suzi trayback???

Just buy a soft top and chop it. they are worth less than the utes cos there are more of them. A few guys on this site have gone the chop, just do a search.

No. At least not the same as the SWB soft tops.

The tray backs use a similar chassis to a early LWB.

Grimbo might know of trayback for sale?? ;)

1. don't buy it from him
2. DO A SEARCH, have a look on the outer limits forsale section, you will find some good buy's there
3. to save money, try and buy a fairly complete donor car before you start playing with welders and grinders, that is, unless you have a good source or access to parts (which I suspect you don't...)
4. you can pick up a good-fair 1.3 narrow track for around 2-3k, or a similar condition wide track from around about 3.5/4k, ironically, it's sometimes better to pay more $$$$ up front then to pay $$$ for one bit, and more $$$ for all the other parts.
5. Do a search, there's stacks of info availible here, you just need to LOOK.
