depends if you are doing it yourself.
You should be able to do a bodylift yourself for under $100 including all parts.
Springs Lift varies allot, you can buy springs for around $200 each, even less someplace's. And if you install em yourself it saves a heap. but if you do shackles, bushes, shocks etc and get it fitted your looking around $2000+ for a spring lift

My body lift cost $50 for the bolts (used offcut steel for the blocks) and took about a day to do... it was my first ;)

Suspension new can cost anywhere from 1k upwards. for that price though you can get a complete carrols kit including bushes, shocks, u-bolts, etc.... but the quality is average

Just something to toss in....

Many many suspension companies in Aus, if not ALL have springs for the MQ's and also the G60's. You got the cheaper ones like Dobinsons and then you have middle of the road like IronMan (who I think sucks) and then you can get the cream of the crop like a Tough Dog kit. Custom srpings can also be made to suit your needs. Then you can get your old ones re-arched with a lift but personally I do not like this method. But re-arching can get you 4-5" of lift from the springs.

I wouldn't use longer shackle to lift it because this causes the springs to flaten out and it also changes the dynamics of the suspension. Shackle lift is just kind of the cheap crappy way to lift in my honest opinion.

I think your best bet may be to buy springs from one source, buy bushing from another source, buy shackles for yet another source and use all this to lift it. Reason is you can get the leaves for fairly cheap by them selves. Same with the shckles and bushings....but all together in a kit it usually runs the most cash. Plus one company may have real nice springs but crappy bushes....if you piece it all together you can get the best from them all. An example is Dobinsons...they have nice springs but their shocks and shackles suck.

Any Idea on a price for just a set of 4 springs, say 2in lift ? i reckon thats the way to go. Especially for a certain someone ;) who may or may not work in a certain well known shock absorber factory who may or may not actually manufacture OME shocks ;) . And, rumour has it, can buy them at somewhere near half price. Or so i've heard. ;) .
