I would think somewhere between $12-16K. thats the opinion of someone who has recently bought a Disco, so I have an idea of the prices.

Also, depends on the KMs with the petrol, I am basing the higher price on <150,000kms and the lower price on >220,000kms. You will probably get better return by stripping it back and selling the bits seperatly. My suggestion, would be list it for two weeks as is at your dream price, then look at stipping bits of it and selling it for a reduced price. Dont forget though, that there is a cost in time to bring it back to standard if you choose that option.

I had a modified surf, I was lucky to sell it complete in its modified form on the first day, for my dream price - just lucky i guess (though me thinks I should probably have kept the GPS - I just wanted to see the back of it by that time though).

I bought my 97 TDi 5door for 11k in Sydney, but is relatively stock form, other than the racho adjustables, airbags, abs and mags.

The sad thing is that you NEVER get what you want. As James said, put your dream price on first, may get lucky.

If I was to sell Aquarangie tomorrow, I would probably get from $10K to $12K realistically as I know it's not the most concourse vehicle and had a really tough life, including the lockers (rear maxi, air locker front), 32 inch MT/rs on the Vogue alloys, 25mm body lift, 50mm spring lift, Rancho shocks all round, ARB bar, rebuilt ZF auto, LT230 conversion, top end overhall at 225,000 (done 275,000 kms) etc, etc...

better off keeping it. Buy another one and I would have to do it all again and not really too keen on that :bad-words:
