Use this link: http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/more_power/power_ve.htm.

You can do the same adjustment to the fuelpump on your Patrol.

The diaphragm assembly is under the boost compensator cover on top of the injectionpump. To remove the boost comp. cover, remove four 6mm bolts. Reduce the tesion on the spring by adjusting the ratchet nut clockvise. The ratchet nut looks like a sprocket with many teeth.

Be careful not to over fuel it as u will end up with holes in your pistons. Best to pay someone with a dyno, gas analyser and knowledge.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.
Well they are all following you...
No they ain't, I'm just in front...............

I could see the smoke behind me on take off so I just turned the star wheel and taperd shaft down 5 minutes ago bit less power but less costly in long run I hope

Hi all,I have just read that link with great interest. It gave me a little more understanding on how the injector pump operates. One question though,I own a 92 lwb td42 and my fuel pump looks nothing like the one pictured. Can mods be done to these pumps as well and if so is there any useful literature available.I guess it is the same principal but just a matter of locating the parts. The gregorys manual I have does not go into much depth in way of adjustments available

Not really unless you put a turbo on it.
Fuel can be turned up for a little more power but at the expense of Black smoke, High EGT and poor fuel economy.
