Is it possible to do a 10inch lift to a sierra?

i think this thing has nine and a half inch lift i dont think it is possible for 10

Where are you measuring the lift from?

If you are referring to actual spring lift, see my answers for the Airbag question- could be done, but there woul dbe no point as the car woudl not be usable.

If you are referring to height overall, it is not out of the question.

34" tyres= 4"+
3" body lift=7"+
Spoa or aftermarket springs,shackles etc=3-5"
Car will be 10" taller than a stocker, no worries.

Anything is possible with enough $$$$ and enough canaries.

What do you want to do with the car? We have gone from airbags to a 10" lift question. The board can help you more if you ask more specific or more detailed questions, or you do some searching.

Please tell us why you need a 10" lift, and/or what you want to do with the car. We will be willing to give you plenty of advice, but ATM it looks like you are dreaming.

Cost is proptional to how fuctional you want the car. you could have it 10" higher for maybe $1k. If you wanted to be able to use it, factor in 3-5k depending on configuration.

If you actually want 10" of all spring lift, ( not tyres, body lift etc) it'll cost a fortune.

Please be more specific and do some research yourself before you hit us with "how long is a piece of string" questions

if it is only a maller, with a spring over, lifted springs and a bodylift, 10" would be no probs, then you have enough room for my 39's :twisted:

you may have enough room, but not enough axle

About five grand would get you there. But think hard about what you intend this for. If it is going to be for street driving you will regret every second of it. Alot of people have about ten inchs lift overall and they have done it in varies ways. Take redzook for example with his spoa! Something to remember the more you lift it the more likely to roll it on the road!.

So tell us what the intentions are and we can help you a little more.

asking for a mate he wants to do a 10inch lift to a sierra but for on road, never taking it off road just wanted to know how much it would cost to do it. and wat size tyres would u need?

i'd do it......but im that way inclined. id run hilux axles for anything over 35". i'd run 10" wide deep dish rims, 2" bodylift, 2" springlift, and soa. the wheels will hang out heaps, and id run tj jeep flares.

i nearly did it myself......but am doing it to an f150 now :twisted:

dude. it sounds like you want some shiny wheels, spoa and some big ass lift blocks. Match this with the number plate "mall-car" and off you go.

Taller does not mean more capable, may look better but in most cases does not work as well

9" = 3" Body Lift and 6" spring lift. Daily driver on 33" rangie a-frame rear and on Hilux diffs. You'll see it at Logan challenge, so I see no reason why 10" is out of the question.

why do you need 9" of lift to clear 33" tyres. You can do it with 40mm lifted springs, 2" BL and trim the guards and you can fit a 34" .

9" or 10" is a lot of lift on a SWB vehicle, there are driveshaft issues, steering issues etc
