Triton V6

Post by Steve »

Looking at buying either a 2000 or 2001 Triton. Seems to be heaps of the V6 Petrol ones around. Can anyone tell me what kind of economy you'd get out of one? Driven normally that is. I'd prefer a diesel, but thought I'd ask about the petrol as well.
I'd rather have a sister in a whorehouse than a Toyota in the shed.

A mate has a 1999 V6 and is lucky to get 400+k's to a tank. He travels about 40K of 100Kph road most days, unladen. When he tows his trailer with trials bike he gets marginally less, but still good considering. He's a bit of a lead-foot sometimes though!! Hope this helps Steve.
Shorty Gen2, lots of stuff and more to come!
