I was suprised at how the goodyear mtr's performed in the mud. Definetly my first set of tyres. :)

A bit disapointed by the Mickey Claws

There is a big tyre test in a upcoming issue of 4x4 monthly ( I think I can say that) anyway there are lots of the best selling Mud type tyres being tested and you will be suprised who wins. (I cant tell who) but try and guess the winner. ;)

 @ Cheezy

why is Mr T at your house?

is it a mud tyre test in all conditions or is it 'which is better in mud' test?

i loved the way my MTRs went in mud.

An intersting write up, As already pointed out the MTR's did a good job, and all i can say is that it is going to be intersting to compare this to the 4wd monthly write up......

I would like to point out that this thread originated over 4 years ago - the "upcoming issue" is now rather old.

And Bruce - over here, we generally call them "tyres". :finger:

shame they dont really test the tyres in any condition other than brand spanking new.

how the tyre lasts and performs as it wears is equally important as how it goes when brand new.

I have that copy of the magazine here somewhere. It is at least 4 years old!
I'll see if I can find it.
