speedwerx bender

Post by Eddywelder »

I am looking at buying one of these tube/pipe benders but want to know is anyone familiar with them or have used one....since it is hard to find a shop in sydney to do a few bends to build a cage for my rig I was thinking of buying one for myself as I am sure if I get one I can do my tube work and others out there will probably want some bending done too...any comments on other brand benders let us know...
thanks everyone.... :)

for a cheap alternative, look at gettin a dawn bending die (about $100) to use with one of those cheapo pipe benders. i built my exo using it, and wendle built a whole tube buggy using one.

heaps on info about them in this thread-> http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... nding+dawn

i got a speedwerx 2" & 11/2", and tube cutter about $2500 all up. its heaps bigger and better than it looks in the photo's. i think the bender was 700, the dies 600 and 500 cutter 400 roughly. why not buy it use it and sell it, might work out cheaper than gettin it done elsewhere

cheers bru
