the 80 front is a hi pinion and the hilux rear is low pinion, the 80 front center can be used in the hilux rear but becuase of the stearing setup in the 80 you cant run the low pinion rear in the front of the 80

If its a RD23 then it will fit in both.
If its a RD01 then it will only suit the hilux low pinion center, but some say it will fit with the correct bearings and some say it want. Ruff tried this and couldn`t get it to fit, but one of my mates thinks!!!!!! his is a RD01 and it fitted into the high pinion center with different bearings.

If it is fitted to a LSD center originally it will have the larger bearings and will then will fit the front 80 center.

If it uses the 50mm id bearings it will go straight in if its got to ~43mm id bearings they need to have sleaves fitted and you need the 80 front adjuster nut as it has a larger thread than the Hilux In the kits they came with both adjuster nuts, have some spares at home left over fron locker instals.
