Greg and N*A*M have done it with 34's, why do you have to do it with 31s??

I just got my rims cut and flipped with an inch more back spacing

Do a search (Not trying to be a search Nazi I'll leave that for grimbo) as I said N*A*M and Greg discussed it a while back.

I believe there are bolt heads in each knuckle that act as steering stops, all you do is put longer bolts in.

yeah, i should search :)
i remember reading the thread about it before but i thought it would be good to some input from the guys that have done it with some pics and tips on doing it too(i didn't search, but i don't think there wasn't any pics). there was a problem with these bolts breaking also if a recall correctly.

the centre bolt that secures the knuckle wiper seal at the back of the axle also doubles as the lock stop. i made an alloy washer with tab that i folded back over the head of the nut after tightening, that was to fit 30" on vitara offset rims on a leafy

I just welded a nut to the axel so on full lock when the tyre turns it hits the nut and not the spring. Wider offset rims is defintely preferable.
