Maybe camry seats could be an easy fit???

I cut my hilux brackets to bits and fitted monza seats to em. Nothing is impossible.

I got seats out of a Hoonda Prelude?? I think, 3 of the 4 holes lined right up (1 needed to be packed up and inch) and I needed to space the other back an inch.

I fitted seats from a 2000 cruiser ute in my HJ60 cruiser. had to move all holes. At the back put a piece of angle between the original mounts and attached the rails to that since the new seat rails are closer together. The front has a box section that the rails are attached to so i just drilled new holes and welded new nuts inside.

dont know how the hilux seats are mounted but i know that here in sa, an engineers report is not needed for modifying seat mounts, as long as they are strong enough (SO I SUGGEST OVERKILL), we can even move seatbelt mounts if we do them properly.

P.S. the seats i fitted are a bucket for the driver and a 1 1/2 for the passenger, but it feels like a bucket too.

Hope this helps

I put Recaro's into my 83 lux. Used same rails as what was in there already just had to modify them a bit. Also had to make the new seats higher so I have four bits of 65 x 65 RHS post under my ass for the extra height. Dodgy I know but it works a treat.
