Post by Webbie »

Ive got a 1st gen as stated my mates got his 253 hooked up to his tacho and we both r unsure of how its done as it was already like it when it was purchased, and i want to do the same but with a 308, :?:
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

can you duplicate whatever is driving the tacho in your mate's truck? trace the wires attached to the - side of the coil - one of them will go to the points (or electronics module if you have electronic ignition), the other should go to the module that is driving the tacho. you might be able to pull it apart and reverse engineer it? if not you might have to cough up for a converter from Marks or someone else.
