coil compressor

Post by Ric »

I am about to put some coil spacers into the front of my Vit, and i don't have a coil compressor to get the coils back in.. Is there any other way to get the coils back in without using a compressor? (i don't have one)

thanks,

Ric,

Use a couple of BIG zip ties.

Put them on before you remove the coils, then should go back in after you have put in your spacers.

coil compressors can be bought from super cheap for about $20

the other option is to jack the car chassie up high enough so that you take all the pressure off the spring much better then zip tyes!!
the years have been good to me, its the weekends that have done all the damage!!!!!
