Post by Daisy »

How do i remove them??

Pinon flanges so i can change em over to the 4.2 ones. They got too much play in them to allow me to undo them - in relation to the tyres turning when i try to undo them.

Any ideas???

Have tried the big pipe over the ratchet to try to turn but ive a feelin ill need to use a air ratchet gun.... :(

Hope someone can help out..

Air gun , long pipe on socket and bar. Youll prob break ratchet.
A flame will help loosen any loctite if youncant crack it. Just make it "psst: to touch. on end of flange

A long thick piece of steel about 40mm wide x 1m long with holes drilled in it to match the holes in the flange is what i've been using. I use a 3/4 drive rachet to undo. You will need a torque wrench to tighten up to spec to mantain bearing pre-load though. I THINK its a 32mm nut.
