actually i dont spend anytime on there. i saw a post on zuwharrie by redzook, looked at his profile, saw this link, and here i am!! i spend most of my time on zuwharrie, some on zukicrawlers, (a texas based site) and now i will be here. again, thanks for the welcome. it is neat to see the mods from across the water. fresh ideas, not the same ole tired stuff. plus australia is about the only other place outside the USA i'd like to visit... :D

specs

Post by Joe S. »

here is what i can think of. it is early here... :D

1993 sami with stock 1.3L, throttle body spacer, header
SPOA with 1" lift shackles. hopefully this weekend will be replaced with SPOA rear Jeep YJ springs in back with Rear sami springs in front
Roadlessgear.com doorless mirror brackets, quick release straps, and cut hinges for doorless action!
petroworks sport cage with chevy tracker rear seatbelts incorporated so my kids can have shoulder harnesses.
custom designed (by me) front bumper with 60" hi-lift mount
rear jeep YJ flares all around
15x8" wheels with 31x10.50-15 tires
open diffs & stock gears, and will still outwheel my friends jeep!! :D
i spray bedliners, so ihave a few things done in that (wheels, bumper, targa plates)

oh yeah... and a LOT of rust!

soon to install the new suspension, yota axles front and rear, a snorkel, and extend my vent lines... then bring on the water crossings!!

how do you add pics?

TJ flares?

Looks good mate

thanks. they are rear jeep YJ flares from 2 94 models. had to cut about 2 inches off the front (in the front), and about 4 inches off the rear of the flare in the back. after i trimmed the body to get that lip that sits under the bumper corner off, the flares stuck way down! it took quite some time, but finally i got it even!

rig looks cool........how do your door hinges work?

thanks. they work great! i have a friend with some half doors, and they dont bounce around or anything. the hinges dont seem to stress even when i leave the doors open for a while.
