any tips for replacing the original roof of a 40 with a better looking and a little less height still want it to be a hard top. perhaps something removable.

i have seen some hardtops around that are very similar to the wrangler hardtops but have no idea where you could find these..

i have seen a bloke who cut the metal panels at the top of the window
he welded inch and a half or so tube in the topof the roof frame (with the above-window but attached and also in the top of the tub - his own pole mounts. then he put heavy duty vinyl panels..or if you go to a perspex place with the right buck$ - roadworthy matter?
