2 x Cibie Oscars - pencil beam.

just curious, when i went out on a night run a while back, one of the guys was running a set of lightforce spotties, but they where those HID gas lights, you know, the one's that the new benz's and bmw's have. i'm just wondering how much a set of these would set ya back, cause they were an awesome set of spotties.

Spice, if this friend of yours thinks lightforce lights are shit then he really doesn`t know everything about 4x4`s.

For the strength issue I think the fact that cheezy rolled his mav on to them and they didn`t break is testamony enough to their strength.

i can also testify to the lightforce's strength, the patrol at the night run i went on decided to lean up against a tree as he dropped down into a little gully, when it hit the tree, his lightforce spotties took a fair hit, and all it did was pop the covers off, didn't crack anything...

I can tell you Lightforce lights are tough. I have rolled onto them twice, smashed tree branches off with the roof lights, lent on trees on side slopes, wraped winch cable around them for quick run out and have only ever broken 1, that was the one at TTC that took the fill brunt of the Mav roll.
As for HID price, full water proof, 35 watt no battery draw, tough and more light than 4 other brand lights, as for water in them Lightforce have out a filter breather set up for the standard light range.

Yes Lightforce do sponser me, but I will not have Shyt on my POS.
