Vitara front body mounts

I am about to do a 2" body lift on my SWB vitara and i have found all 8 points but the front to mounts i can't get into.. How did you get in there to undo the body mounts?

If I remember correctly you need to remove the headlights to expose the top of the bolts...........

after removing the headlights, is there enough space to fit in the lift blocks? i thought i would have to take the headlights out...

The lights are taken out just to access the bolts. To get to the body blocks you need to take the front bumper off ( leave the headlight / radiator surround on).....

Remove head light

your model may be a little different, but the front mounts on mine are bolts, with captive nuts. (nuts are welded in place)

you need to remove the headlight to get to the bolt, and to put your lift block in, and then your headlights can be put back.
